Dr. med. Elmar Gieseke

Dr. Elmar Gieseke studied medicine in Berlin and at the prestigious St. Bartholomew's Medical School in London. His studies took him to Beijing, where he received training experience in acupuncture. Later he graduated from an acupuncture training center in Germany at the DÄGfA (German Society for Medical Acupuncture), whose members he is today.

As part of his doctoral thesis he dealt with the emergency care of heart attack patients. His findings led to the introduction of a new emergency system. He received a Martin-Kirschner Prize for pre-clinical emergency medicine.

He performed his work training at the DRC Westend Clinic in cardiology (chief physician Dr. Ralph Schoeller), where he received an extensive experience in diagnosis and therapy of cardiac disease. This is today a focus of his interest at the practice Kant.
