Pain therapy

For acute and chronic pain conditions, we offer a pain relief therapies using acupuncture with Dr. Elmar Gieseke. Proven to be effective in alleviating pain in muscles, joints, migraine, cardiovascular and gastrointestinal system.

Painful blockades in the area of the spine can be relived by manual therapy with Dr.Olaf Heibült. The therapy deals with specific diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, detection and treatment of reversible dysfunction to the musculoskeletal system. We use special techniques to locate and analyze movement disorders of limb joints and spine. The therapies are used for pain relief as well as for relief of movement restrictions, in case of reversible dysfunction of joints, caused by corresponding muscles.

Joint injections

To relief pain due to rheumatoid arthritis, cartilage diseases or degenerative processes in large joints such as hip, knee and ankle joints as well as in small joints, the injection of hyaluronic acid has proven to be effective.

Osteopathy

For many patients traditional classical medical diagnostic can not find a clear explanation for existing complaints.

The patient feels ill, e.g. damage of the musculoskeletal system, degradation of physical performance or organ functions. A good communication between patient, doctor and osteopath can result in finding the causes of complaints. An osteopathic investigation is used in the analysis of the entire body.

It is not only the mobility of joints and muscles examined manually, but also the connective tissue, the movement of the organs or nerves. Scarring, inflammation or reduced metabolism may restrict movements of the musculoskeletal system and cause disorders of organs.

The circulation blood, lymph, spinal cord or joint fluid are part of the osteopath analysis. In the holistic view of health there are always interrelationship between the complaints of patients and findings of causes in other parts of the body. The difficulties of diagnosing the causes of pain is that it may not be where the pain is.
